We are Dave & Leslie Berggren of Lima, Ohio. We started Candles@Home in 2001 by making highly scented candles at home for ourselves and friends. After expermenting with different waxes, scent, wicks and jars, we have developed candles that our friends and family say are the best smelling candles they have had. We know you will enjoy our candles.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

All orders purchased in Ohio will include 6.5% sales tax.

Do you do refills?

That is how we started our business, friends kept coming over with empty jars. We can make the same highly scented candle in your container. We charge $6.75 per lb. E-mail us in the local Lima, Ohio area for details.

Return Policy

If you have any problems with our products, have something damaged or just have questions about any of our candles, please e-mail us at (info@candlesathome.com) We stand behind the quality of our product. The only returns we see are clean, empty jars from people wanting us to make them more highly scented candles.

Shipping Costs

We ship using the most economical method possible. Usually, Priority Mail's Flat Rate Box...or FedEx Ground.. As of now, due to the increase in wax and shipping costs, the shipping & handling charge is $6.99 flat rate...That's right, we will pay the additional shipping cost for you to enjoy our candles...Shipping outside the Continental U.S. or Canada; e-mail or fax us your order with complete mailing address so we can calculate the total cost including shipping rates.****NOTE****Local Lima, Ohio area orders, please call, fax or e-mail us for special pick-up.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Candles@Home prefers the "easy payment" method used with PayPal. We also accept money orders or checks. We are in the process of adding a Visa/MC to our shopping cart. If you are ordering with a money order or check you need to print an order form. Click the "Order Form" on the Home Page. Then mail us the completed order form along with the money order or check made out to Candles@Home...Your candles are on their way. Enjoy...
